Luxury snack range from Forest Feast for Festive Season
Kestrel Foods, Northern Ireland's award-winning manufacturer of Forest Feast branded healthy dried fruit and nut snacks, has launched a new Christmas Collection.
The company, which is based at Craigavon in county Armagh, has introduced a 10-strong range that combines innovative flavours with a festive twist to boost the snacking category over the period.
The distinctively packaged products include a Sweet and Spicy Carmelised Nut, a Vanilla, Cashew and Cranberry Fruit and Nut Mix and Nuts with nuggets of dark chocolate-covered Cranberries (200g, RRP £3.50) as well as a Luxury Hickory Smoke Mix, Hickory Smoked Nuts (250g, RRP £3.50).
The company says the new range is aimed at consumers who spend around £480 million during the festive season especially those buying premium food. It supplies most of the UK and Ireland's top retailers and health stores such as Holland and Barrett.
Established in 1996, Kestrel Foods now exports its extensive portfolio of premium dried fruit and nut products to almost 40 countries, including Russia.
The family-owned business has a longstanding commitment to new product development and has also pioneered innovative packaging.
Among original products is the company's successful Acti-Snack range aimed at the developing fitness marketplace.
Dried tropical fruit, especially mango, in attractive and original packaging, has been at the heart of the business since its early days. It supports ethical trading and has a longstanding partnership with PREDA, a social development organisation, through which it helps mango growers in the Philippines to enjoy a better quality of life.
Growing global success has also been recognised in a string of major industry awards for this enterprising local business including being named as one of Ireland's 'Best Managed' companies in the Deloitte Best Managed Companies Awards Programme.
